DESTINATION WEDDING: Taking Your Love Places: Part – 2
ONE MUST SUBSTITUTE COURAGE FOR PLANNING
Arranging wedding is altogether is a very tricky affair and in a vibrant country like ours, it becomes more tedious and add to it the flavor of Destination wedding and it guarantees a lot of extra pressure and work.
Well, not so if we are with you because as promised we ensure that the Mangal Phera are as smooth and hassle free as they are pure and auspicious. So, as a continuation to our previous write up, we bring for you the don’ts that you should definitely keep in mind while planning a destination wedding.
Make sure you cling to each one and ponder on all because it is our years of experience that has helped us learn all of it and our plethora of experience at your service so that your D-day is Manorama, as promised.
- Don’t let small things harass you!
Things happen, no matter how much you plan and prepare, small things are bound to go out of hand but it doesn’t mean that you compromise all your happiness and joy for it. Keep everything in perspective and enjoy it all. Don’t forget to laugh. There is not much you can do about then, so remember to laugh and enjoy each other’s company.
- Don’t wait for last moment to send out invites.
A destination wedding’s prime requirements are travel arrangements to reach to that destination, make sure that you send your invites well in time, so that guests can properly make their travel arrangements because in our beautiful country you can never be sure about getting last moment reservations.
- Don’t assume the guests know about the destination.
The destination is special to you and you might be well versed about the roads, places and about how to reach where, but same might not be the case with all the guests that will be attending. No matter how much famous that place is, make sure you provide them with maps, list of important landmarks nearby, ways of reaching, people to contact in case of some issue and an itinerary that ensures they know when to reach where.
- Not everyone can attend.
If you live in Ahmedabad and are doing a destination wedding in Ooty, you may have a small number of attending guests. Understand that cost, time and distance will play a major role in how many people attend and it has got nothing to do with their love for you or your happiness on the D-day.
- Don’t think you can plan it all alone.
If you are planning a large wedding, invest in a wedding planner. It may cost you a little extra now but they can save you money in areas you may not realize are negotiable. Use the wedding coordinator or any event coordinating assistance as the hotel or resort has, services that are free or included in a package deal and you can’t ensure each nitty gritty. So leave it to professionals and experienced.
- Don’t plan your bachelor/ette party the night before your wedding.
For all those who have watched Hangover Series , don’t need a heads up on this and those who haven’t, you have no idea how alert and punctual you’ll want to be on your big day and it’s too difficult to be in that state when you are hung over. Plan it a few days before, and enjoy it off later.
Not everything can go as planned, no one can plan for every contingency but then taking few steps and trusting the experienced of the fields will ensure that you get to realize your dream and more!
